The main reason is the difference it makes on your CV. Employers actually respect a City and Guilds qualification and one of my worries before going to study was whether it would actually impact my career in the way I wanted it to. But My City and Guilds qualification in food technology has got me just the kind of attention from employers that I was hoping for. I’d recommend them to anyone thinking of studying for a new qualification – they have City and Guilds Centers all over the world.
